Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Girl Accepts Plea Deal

Alleged crimes took place in Morristown, Parsippany, and Dover over two-year period, report says.

A Franklin Township man indicted on 23 counts of sexually abusing a girl under the age of 16 in Morris County pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Wednesday, nj.com reported.

Francisco Paz said he slapped a girl under the age of 16 on the buttocks over her clothing for sexual gratification in 2008, the report said, leading to his conviction of a single charge of third-degree child endangerment.

When the incident happened, Paz said in court Wednesday, he was living in Morristown. The previous indictment alleged Paz sexually assaulted the girl numerous times during a two-year time frame in Morristown, Parsippany, and Dover, nj.com reported.
