Man Mooned Cop, Others In Middle of Street, Police Say

30-year-old Morristown resident allegedly dropped his pants on Washington Street.

A Morristown man was arrested and charged with lewdness after he dropped his pants while standing in the middle of the road, Morristown Police said.

Ross Cocheo, 30, of Farmhouse Lane, was arrested shortly after 2 a.m. on Dec. 23. According to officer David Tissot's report, he was traveling eastbound on Washington Street in his patrol car when he stopped and observed a man—later identified as Cocheo—standing motionless in the middle of Washington Street blocking traffic.

Cocheo then turned away from the officer's direction and undid his pants, dropping them around his knees and bent over in front of the officer and about 10 other individuals in the area, according to the report.
