Cops: Man 'Struggled' with Officers, Banned From Iron Bar

Morristown resident faces disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges.

A 26-year-old Morristown man was banned from the Iron Bar after an altercation with the manager led to his arrest, Morristown Police said.

Kenneth Decker was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and was told he was no longer allowed in Iron Bar, the report said.

According to a report by Officer David Gizzi, officers conducting a property check at the closing of Iron Bar saw Decker "flailing his arms and acting in an inappropriate manner causing public alarm."

Decker refused requests by police to get on the ground and "struggled" with officers while they tried to arrest him for disorderly conduct, the report said.

Decker told police after his arrest that he had a verbal altercation with the manager of the Iron Bar that initiated the disturbance, the report said.
