Death at Senior Complex Not Considered Criminal

50-year-old male's identity not yet released.

Law Enforcement agencies Saturday were investigating the death of a 50-year-old male at a senior citizen housing complex at 39 Early St. in Morristown

According to Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi, police responded to a report of an unconscious male at around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The male, whose name is being withheld pending next of kin notification, was pronounced dead at 7:43 a.m., according to Bianchi. Based on a preliminary investigation, the death does not appear to have been caused by a criminal act, Bianchi said Saturday afternoon.

Along with the Morristown Police Department, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, the Morris County Sheriff's Office and Morris County Medical Examiners Office are investigating the death.
