All public safety agencies involved worked together to ensure that the event was safe and enjoyable for all that attended, as stated in the press release. Steve Sarinelli said, compared to other parade days, the amount of violations, citations and arrests were comparable and that those this year represented only a small fraction of the tens of thousands of people who celebrated on Saturday.

Criminal arrests on parade day included three assaults; one arrest for sexual contact; six disorderly conduct/improper behavior fighting arrests; one arrest for under age possession and consumption of alcohol; and two arrests on charges of trespassing.
