Police Looking for Info on Man Who Drowned

Last Known Address Was Morristown

NJ Transit police are asking for help identifying a man who drowned in the Hudson River in Hoboken last week. They believe his last known address was Morristown.

The incident occurred Wednesday, June 15, shortly before midnight near Hoboken Terminal, according to the transit police. The man is described as Hispanic, in his early 30s, about 5 feet and 3 inches tall, and about 165 pounds.

He was wearing a green button-front shirt with a yellow design, black cargo pants and black strap-front shoes. He had a Figaro-style gold-link chain around his neck with a key hanging from it, police said.

He was carrying a Republica de Honduras picture I.D. with the name Santos Aguirre Rodriguez.

Anyone with information is asked to call NJ  Police at 1-800-242-0236, and refer to Case No. 11-5583.  All calls will be kept confidential.
