Police: Man Found Injured in Roadway

Injured male found on Phoenix Avenue shortly before 3 a.m. on April 21.

Police say a man was found injured in the road of Phoenix Avenue during the early morning hours of April 21.

According to a release issued by Capt. Steven Sarinelli, police were sent to the street at 2:41 a.m. Saturday on report of the man, whose identity police have not made public, down in the roadway. When they arrived, police found the man had head injuries, according to the release.

Officers gave first aid to the man until arrived, as well as Atlantic Health paramedics, which transported him to the emergency room, according to the release.
