Recent Intoxication Arrests by Morristown Police

recently charged the following people with various offenses involving intoxication:

• Pedro Arriaga, 32, of Western Avenue, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop and failure to use headlamps at 4:33 a.m. on Feb. 13. Police had observed Arriaga, who later said he had come from , stop halfway into the intersection at DeHart Street and Maple Avenue, then turn onto Maple Avenue and drive at a high rate of speed before being pulled over by police, according to police reports. At the police station, Arriaga recorded a blood alcohol level of .18 percent, according to reports. He was later released into the custody of a friend.
• David Raventtine II, 26, of Carlstadt, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 10:42 p.m. on Feb. 7. Police responded to , where staff said a heavily intoxicated Raventtine had been ejected from the bar due to disorderly behavior and had refused, according to the report. .
• Danielle Meisner, 26, of Mandeville, LA, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without head lamps illuminated, operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and reckless driving at 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 6. Police had observed Meisner turn from Spring to Morris Street without her head lamps on and park her vehicle across from , according to a police report. When officers asked if she had been drinking, she first said "no" then later, during field sobriety tests, said she had "like two," according to the report. After she was taken into custody by police, a search of her belongings revealed five "white glassine druggist folds marked 'Magic City' in red ink," which police suspected to be heroin, according to the report. Meisner said that the suspected drugs were not hers and that "my friend must have put that there," according to the report. At the station, where a  breath test showed Meisner's blood alcohol level at .15 percent, Meisner said her father had a lot of connections back home in Louisiana and that she already had an attorney that would take care of the situation, according to the report. "At least I didn't kill anyone or an innocent family," Meisler said, according to the report. She was later released into the custody of a friend.
• Daniel Caccavale, 23, of Kenvil, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, failure to maintain a lane, reckless driving and driving an unsafe vehicle at 1:18 a.m. on Feb. 5. Police had observed Caccavale driving on South Street with a flat tire, which had been shredded by driving on it, according to police reports. Caccavale told police he had been aware of the tire, it had been that way for a while and that he was heading home, according to the report. Police had also observed what appeared to be fresh paint on the bumper from a collision, but later could not identify any area near , where Caccavale had claimed to have come from, according to the report. He was later released into the custody of a family member.
• Daniel Espinola, 39, of Easton, PA, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and assault by automobile at 2:04 a.m. on Feb. 5. Police responded to Ann Street, where Espinola's vehicle had appeared to rear-end another vehicle near the Bank Street intersection, according to the report. Espinola told police he had come from , where he had a couple of drinks, according to the report. Espinola was not able to provide all requested materials at the scene, and police were unable to find his license plate number in a search of Pennsylvania vehicle registration records, according to the report. One of the two passengers in the other vehicle had claimed to feel neck pain and was treated on the scene, according to the report. Espinola was later released into the custody of a family member.
