Column: Aliens, Moon Landings, 9/11 and Obama

Who kidnapped all the moderate Republicans?

None of the Apollo missions really landed on the moon. The footage from NASA was all filmed on a sound stage.

Osama bin Laden did not order the September 11 attacks. It was an inside job, so to speak, and possibly Israelis were involved—Jewish workers were warned to stay out of the World Trade Center that day!

A UFO crashed near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, and it’s one of hundreds (or more) of alien spacecraft that have been visiting Earth for centuries—extraterrestrials built the pyramids, after all, as well as those Nazca Lines in Peru!

And, of course President Obama is not a citizen of the United States and, thus, should be tossed from the Oval Office immediately!

Two prominent Morris County politicians——found some credence in that book.

And the Morris County Republican Committee invited author Jerome Corsi to present his view to several hundred people last week.

Many pronouned this so-called birther movement dead a year ago with the release of the president’s birth certificate. But Corsi and the Maricopa County, Ariz., sheriff say it’s a forgery. And who would be better qualified to investigate the citizenship of the president than the “Cold Case Posse” of a sheriff who is accused of federal civil rights violations, mostly of immigrants, and who forces inmates to wear pink underwear?

Who cares that the actual birth certificate is now online for everyone to see?

Just ignore those who have debunked the birther theories.

That’s what Bucco and Morris County Sheriff Ed Rochford have done.

“The easiest way to put this to rest is to have the records unsealed,” said Rochford, who calls Corsi a friend. “Mr. Corsi made a very convincing argument that President Obama may not be a natural born citizen of the United States.”

He cited several points made by Corsi:

  • A Hawaii Health Department spokesperson had said there was no long form birth certificate, and then Obama’s appeared.
  • Obama had supposedly been born at Queens Medical Center, but later that was changed to Kapiolani Hospital.
  • A social security number allegedly was issued in Connecticut after Obama already had started working.
  • Obama lived in Indonesia and attended a school that only an Indonesian citizen could attend and, by the way, why are his school and travel records sealed?

All these points raised “a red flag,” Rochford said. According to the Huffington Post, Bucco said a resolution to the question of Obama’s birth won’t come until “some higher authority is involved.”

The Maricopa sheriff’s citizen party and a Denville author who has made a living writing uber-conservative books surely are authority enough.

Perhaps the truth will finally come out on Tuesday. That’s when, according to the Conservative News and Views website, a New Jersey administrative law judge will conduct a hearing on the challenge by two Jerseyans to Obama’s candidacy. The president is not eligible for the office of president because, according to a statement on that website, “Obama has never shown that he was born in the United States, nor even who he really is.”

I am grateful that there is no citizenship test for journalists as I would, clearly, fail. Allegedly, I was born in Jersey City. But a clerk in the Hudson County vital statistics office admitted to creating false birth certificates for sale to illegal immigrants back in 2005—when Gov. Chris Christie was U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, by the way—so New Jersey won’t accept my HC-issued birth certificate as legal proof of anything. Maybe my birth certificate isn’t legit.

Maybe the Hudson County worker was in cahoots with the clerk in Hawaii?!

Or, more likely, the Obama birth certificate dates back to a plan hatched back in 1961, which foresaw the need to pass off a Kenyan as an American so he could almost 50 years later become president and ruin this great land.

The real mystery I, and many moderate Morris Republicans, would like to see explained is how the radical right hijacked the GOP—the party of Dean Gallo, Leanna Brown, Bob Martin, Carol Murphy, Pat Hylad and, yes, Chris Christie—in one of the wealthiest and most well-educated counties in the nation.

On second thought, that’s not important. After all, the world’s going to end on Dec. 21.
