Gov. Chris Christie presented Tuesday his plan to lower taxes by $200 million, boost school aid by $250 million, and cut spending in several key state programs in his FY 2012 budget. The governor is also asking for major pension and benefit reforms he says are needed to ensure deserving public workers still can enjoy those systems in the future, and to provide taxpayers with critical relief.
