Election Day (Part One) is Upon Us

What you need to know.

By the time you read this, the polls will be open in Morristown. From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., your neighbors and friends will be out to volunteer at the polls, to cast their ballots, to help shape the general elections in November. 

Will you be among them?

  1. You Need to Know About the Candidates: Check out our , which includes videos for all of the candidates vying for a seat at the Town Council table (except for one, who was not in attendance at the Candidate's Night).
  2. You Need to Know Where to Vote: That is in the . You also should have received a sample ballot in the mail.
  3. You Need to Know About County Elections: We have a lot of interesting contests in town, and not just Republicans vs. Democrats. Try Democrats vs. Democrats, Republicans vs. Republicans, Independents vs. ... well, nobody. At least, not until November (and, if you don't think these primaries are not that important, be sure to check out ). But, there are some other spots up for grabs beyond our three-square-miles of heaven, as well. Check
  4. You Need to Know Patch Will Be All Over This: Keep checking back during the day, as we provide updates from the voters, candidates, leading up to when the polls close at 8 p.m. and the results come flooding in.
