2011 Black History Month Celebration

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Community Affairs Unit and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives will host a Black History Month Celebration on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Administration & Records Building in Morristown.

The following people will be honored at the event:

  • Alderwoman Carolyn Blackman of Dover
  • Retired Captain of the Orange Police Department Don Wactor, also a member of NOBLE NNJ
  • Educator and Historian Dr. Felicia Jamison
  • Morristown High School Principal Linda Murphy
  • David Walker, the executive director of Morristown Neighborhood House
  • Jerricho Cotchery of the New York Jets

The Keynote Address will be given by Sheriff Mildred Scott of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office.
