Morris County Memorial Day Ceremony

Morris County's annual Memorial Day observance sponsored by the Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders will be Wednesday, May 25 at noon on the front lawn of the Morris County Courthouse.

The keynote speaker will be Mrs. Cheryl Doltz, of Mine Hill, whose son, Army Sgt. Ryan E. Doltz, was killed in action while serving in Iraq in June 2004.

The public is invited to attend the Memorial Day observance, during which the freeholders will also present the Morris County Distinguished Military Service Medal to several Morris County veterans in recognition of their service to our nation.
