Free Garage Parking Extended to Thursday Morning

Latest storm could bring 8 more inches of snow and a half-inch of ice.

As much as 8 more inches of snow and up to a half-inch of snow could be on the ground by Wednesday night.

With that, Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty has extended the free garage parking program that was enacted Monday morning.

Garages opened to Morristown residents who park on the streets at 9 a.m. Monday, and were originally going to close at noon Tuesday. As the new storm barrels in, those same garages will be opened until Thursday at 9 a.m.

They are:
Dalton Parking Garage on Cattano Avenue
Ann/Bank Parking Garage
DeHart Garage
Vail Parking Deck (Access from South Street)

Residents are asked to provide a driver's license with their Morristown address at the time of departure from the garage, and no charge will be applied.
