Give Blood, Give Minutes to Troops on Aug. 29
Morristown partnering with Morristown Medical Center for 'Operation Phone Home' blood drive.
Are you looking for a way to help the community? Then, roll up your sleeves—or, at least one—and mark your calendar for Aug. 29.
That is when Morristown, in conjunction with , is sponsoring a "Operation Phone Home" blood donation program at the hospital. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., each whole blood donation will equal a 20-minute prepaid phone card for a U.S. Army soldier from Fort Dix who are stationed in the Middle East.
