Free Garage Parking During Storm Offered in Morristown

Residents can park in town garages starting 9 a.m. Friday.

With a major winter storm expected to bring 10 to 14 inches of snow to the region Friday into Saturday, Morristown is offering free parking for resident vehicles at any of the town's covered parking garages, starting 9 a.m. Friday through 9 a.m. Sunday, or for the duration of the storm.

This includes DeHart Street, Ann-Bank Street, Dalton Garage on Cattano Avenue and the Vail Parking Deck at Vail Mansion. The garages at Headquarters Plaza and Highlands at Morristown Station are not town-maintained garages.

Those taking advantage of the free parking during the storm must show their driver's license as proof of residency upon leaving the lot, and their fee will be waived.
