NYTimes.com: Morristown Pushing Residential in Retail Areas

Speedwell Avenue redevelopment project continues to have people talking.

As the economic downturn continues, Morristown continues to promote and encourage residential development and redevelopment in largely commercial retail areas, as discussed in a NYTimes.com article.

Besides developments like 40 Park on the Green and Highlands at Morristown Station–both owned by Roseland Properties–the town is still working toward redevelopment of the largely-Hispanic section of Speedwell Avenue, which is home to smaller businesses and lower rents, according to the article.
