Parking Garages Free for Residents During Snowstorm

Five garages will be available until noon Tuesday, Morristown mayor says.

Despite 45-degree temperatures and melting snow all weekend, old man winter is back and dumping snow on the region Monday morning.

With that, Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty has announced residents may park in the town's garages free of charge to keep roadways clear.

Available garages include:
Dalton Parking Garage on Cattano Avenue
Ann/Bank Parking Garage
DeHart Garage
Vail Parking Deck (Access from South Street)

The garages opened to residents at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, and are asked to remove their vehicles by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Residents need to show their driver's license upon exiting for proof of residency, and the parking fee will be waved.
