Redevelopment Meeting Postponed Due to Weather

Anyone who was interested in Tuesday night's Morristown Redevelopment Meeting at Town Hall will have to wait a bit longer as it has been postponed due to the winter weather activity sweeping through the area.

On the agenda is the reintroduction of an ordinance to amend Phase IV of the Speedwell Redevelopment Plan, to include a proposed CVS Pharmacy on the site currently occupied by the abandoned used car lot at Spring and Speedwell and the old Blockbuster building on Speedwell Avenue.

While Morristown has been experiencing a mixture of wet snow and rain throughout much of the day, the real issues were expected later, as temperatures re expected to drop below freezing heading into the evening.

The meeting is now scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Senior Center at Town Hall.
