Morristown Officials Made False Remarks After Harassment Claim, Employee Says
Woman alleges former Zoning Officer John Fugger continued to harass her even after she filed a police report.
A Morristown employee has filed another tort claim against the town regarding statements made against her a news conference, NJ.com reported.
The woman filed a claim alleging that Zoning Officer John Fugger continued to harass her even after she filed a police report against him. The claim stated Fugger had made unwanted calls to the woman after hours, despite being told to stop. She accused Fugger of harassment in October. Fugger was suspended without pay.
Fugger was told to stay away from the woman.

She filed a second tort claim Feb. 1, NJ.com reported. In it, she alleges that Mayor Tim Dougherty, Business Administrator Michael Rogers, and the town published “false statements of fact” about her in a news release issued Jan. 29.
Fugger resigned from his position March 9.
