Morristown ABC Board to Decide Tashmoo's Liquor License

After a heated public hearing last week, the Morris ABC Board will meet April 10 to decide whether to approve the liquor license transfer for the proposed expansion of Tashmoo Restaurant & Bar on DeHart Street.

Morristown Reviews Gun Law, Budget

The Morristown town council will meet this Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. and one of their agenda items is to pass a resolution in support of federal legislation adopting New Jersey’s strict gun laws.

There will be a presentation as well outlining the reasons for considering this resolution.

At this same meeting, they will also review the 2013 Morristown budget with a presentation.

Morris Board of Education to Meet

The Morris School Board of Education will be meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m at the Lafayette Center.

Morris Plains School Board to Meet

The school board will meet Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda is the approval of calendar revisions to the 2012-13 and the 2013-14 school calendar. They also plan to accept a $2,380 donation from the Morris Plains Home & School Association that they will use for outdoor signs for the Mountain Way and Borough schools. Joseph McEntee is donating his services to install the signs.
