Locals on Debt Debate: We Worry About the Future
We asked people around town their opinions.
Warren Westura asked people in Morristown on Monday what they thought of the 11th-hour deal reached over the weekend by President Obama and Congressional leaders of both parties, intended to avert a default on the nation's $14.3 trillion debt.
Opinions varied: Some were thankful the situation appeared resolved (though the deal hadn't yet gone to a vote). Others thought the whole "debt crisis" was a government-manufactured hoax.
