Another Defensive Gem Wins Wednesday Night Kickball Title

Who would take home the title? The #1 seed or the #3 seed?

Kick n' Play didn't have an easy road to the Wednesday night kickball finals. To prepare for their showdown with top-seeded Pee Wee's Playhouse, they needed to beat second-seeded Menace to Sobriety. Once Kick n' Play beat Menace to Sobriety in a 2-1 nailbiter, that set up their meeting for the championship against Pee Wee's Playhouse.

In the first inning, Kick n' Play lit up the scoreboard, putting up 6 runs against a team that only had 16 runs scored against them during the entire regular season. Pee Wee's Playhouse couldn't get their offense going for 4 straight innings, but Kick n' Play kept piling on the runs, scoring 3 in the second, and 5 in the fourth, to go up 14-0.

Pee Wee's Playhouse finally got 3 runs on the board in the fifth inning, but it wasn't enough as Kick n' Play scored 1 more insurance run in the fifth and took the title, 15-3.
