Avengers Dominate to Win Monday Night No Idea Volleyball Championship

Monday night's No Idea Sports volleyball championship proved to be a battle of the champions as both the Avengers and Suckatash had previous wins in the championship game. So who would add another championship t-shirt to their collection?

In the first game, the Avengers got the first point, but Suckatash scored 3 straight points to make it 3-1. The Avengers were quick to come back though, scoring 4 straight to go up 5-3. After losing the next point, the Avengers went on another streak, scoring 7 straight. Suckatash fought back to make the score 16-8, but couldn't stop the Avengers, as they took game 1, 25-12.

Starting off game 2 the same way as game 1, the Avengers scored first and continued to score, racking up the next 5 points to go up 6-0. A rare Avengers error put Suckatash on the board, 6-1. Calling a timeout to regroup after getting down 11-4, Suckatash would score the next 4 of 5 points to tighten the score, 12-8. Although they were scoring points on aces, hard spikes, and soft placements, miscommunication by the Avengers causes Suckatash to slowly score some points. With a championship at stake in game 2, Suckatash hit the Avengers' serve out of bounds, locking up the championship for the Avengers, 25-17.

Game 3 saw the same results as the previous 2; the Avengers win the final set 25-11 to take the championship.
