FC Beatdown Comes From Behind to Take No Idea Soccer Championship

After scoring 31 goals and allowing only 6 during the regular season, it seemed as though FC Beatdown would cruise to a win in the No Idea Sports soccer championship. The Beautiful People's Club, who finished 3rd in the regular season standings, was going to do their best to make sure that didn't happen.

Seven and a half minutes into the game, it looked as though the Beautiful People's Club was going to jump out to a 1-0 lead, but the shot hit the post. But just over a minute later, their shot found the back of the net and the Beautiful People's Club got their 1-0 lead.

FC Beatdown's goalie came up huge, stopping a shot that would have put the Beautiful People's Club up 2-0. Two minutes later, FC Beatdown tied up the score, 1-1, on a corner kick goal. They would extend their lead, 2-1, on a beautiful goal scored when an FC Beatdown player kicked the ball into the goal in midair.

The crossbar proved to be the Beautiful People's Club worst enemy, as they would miss 2 goals when they both hit the posts. On the flip side, the post was good to FC Beatdown as their third goal hit the post to go in, making the score 3-1.

The Beautiful People's Club cut the lead to 3-2 with 12 minutes left, but FC Beatdown would go on to score 2 more goals within 4 minutes of each other to make the final score 5-2.
