New Champion Takes No Idea Flag Football Title

Persistence paid off for one of No Idea Sports' original flag football teams as they won their first championship on Sunday.

The third time was the charm for No Idea Sports' newest flag football champion.

The team started off the season 2-3 before going on a 3-game win streak heading into the playoffs, including a over The Replacements, a team who was undefeated the entire season. With the win, the playoffs were set: Touchdown My Pants would play The Colonials for a right to battle The Replacements in the championship game.

It was a team Touchdown My Pants was familiar with; The Colonials dashed their championship dreams, beating them in the inagural season and Touchdown My Pants has been winless against the team ever since. After 7 straight losses, Touchdown My Pants finally found the win column against The Colonials, defeating them 44-34 in the semi-final, setting up a meeting between Touchdown My Pants and the top seed, The Replacements.

The season finale was an exciting and back-and-forth game, but in the end Touchdown My Pants outscored The Replacements, 31-20, finally winning the championship that had eluded them for 2 straight seasons.

Thanks to The Replacements, The Colonials, Blue Ringed Octopi of the West, and Raging Red Rockets for participating in this season's Frozen Tundra Flag Football league, and congratulations to Touchdown My Pants for not giving up and winning their first championship.
