Newest No Idea Sports Dodgeball Champs Ball Busters Win a Close One

Unlike championship games of the past, the most recent No Idea Sports dodgeball championship game pitted 2 evenly matched teams against each other. 

Top-seeded Ball Busters won every match of the season, excpet for their 12-9 loss to Jerk Store, the team they would face in the championship. Jerk Store lost 2 matches in the regular season, including a very close 9-8 loss early on to Ball Busters.

In the championship, the game was close the entire time. Ball Busters won the first match, but Jerk Store came back to win the second. The teams would each go on to win 2-games in a row to tie the score up at 3.

Ball Busters won back-to-back games to go up 5-3, but Jerk Store won the next one to cut the lead to 1. That was the closest Jerk Store would get to catching up with the Ball Busters. The Ball Busters won 3 straight to extend their lead to 4. Jerk Store would win the next 5 of 8 games, but it wasn't enough as the Ball Busters walked away with the championship belt, winning by a final score of 11-9.
