2-Hour Delayed Opening For Local Schools Tuesday
First time classes have been in session since Feb. 12.
One more punch of winter weather has forced the Morris School District to have a two-hour delayed opening on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
The district announced its decisions just after 6 a.m. Tuesday morning after all schools were closed Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.
There have been no classes since Wednesday, Feb. 12. A nor'easter pummeled the region Wednesday night into Thursday morning, closing schools through the already-extended weekend.
Tuesday was originally scheduled to be closed for an extended weekend, and then was added to the calendar to make up for inclement weather days.
