Replacing Harte on and interim basis is Lora Clark, the current principal of Lafayette Learning Center Preschool. Dr. Karen Andre, the Director of Child Study Teams and former principal of Lafayette Learning Center, will become interim principal at Lafayette.

“It has been my absolute pleasure to serve as the principal at Normandy Park. I hope you know how much I have enjoyed these past two and a half years. It has been a true blessing to have the experience of such wonderful partnerships with the students, staff and families in our school community,” Harte wrote in a letter to the Normandy Park school community.

The appointments were made at the board of education’s meeting Monday night.
