Fall 2012 Computer Programs

The Morristown and Morris Township Library will be
offering a selection of computer training classes for all levels this fall. For
seniors with no prior computer experience we offer a seven week series of classes
called Computer Savvy Seniors. It will provide absolute beginners a welcoming
environment for getting started with using the internet and email as well as
understanding the desktop. Our other beginning classes are one time
introductions to the Internet, Word, Publisher, Powerpoint, and Excel. We are
also offering programs that will explain how our very popular eBook and eReader
programs work, how to get the most from your iPad or iPhone, and how to stay
connected in the world of social media with Facebook and LinkedIn. And for more
experienced users we offer advanced classes in Word and Excel. New this fall
are two beginning classes taught exclusively in Spanish: Beginning Word and
Introduction to the Internet. Clases en
Español: La Introducción al Internet y Comensando a Aprender Palabra.
There is something for everyone. Registration is required for all classes and
begins on Monday, August 27. Please call the library reference desk at 973-538-2592
to register or for more information. Classes begin in September and run through
November
