The Federal Government purchases billions of dollars in goods and services each year.  This workshop will cover the various types of federal small business procurement programs and how your small business can get its share of the federal government contract dollar. The various small businesses contracting preference program will be discussed as well as how to register with the government & find federal contract opportunities.

Richard  Zilg is the Assistant District Director for 8(a) Business Development in the Small Business Administration's New Jersey District Office.  He is responsible for the management of SBA's 8(a) Business Development program which delivers business development assistance as well as federal government contract support to SBA certified minority business owners, throughout the state of New Jersey.  He brings over thirty years of government contracting experience.
