Rachel's Challenge @ Frelinghuysen

Rachel Joy Scott was the first victim in the Columbine tragedy 12 years ago.

Shortly before the tragedy, she wrote a paper about starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion. With this program, Rachel’s family tells her story and tries to inspire, equip and empower kids to find a purpose in their lives, make a positive difference in their world, and be kind and compassionate to others along the way.

The overall goal of bringing “Rachel’s Challenge” to the Morris School District is to help educate students, staff and parents about bringing a permanent positive culture change to school by starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion.
