Raw Dressings (adding nutrients and digestibility to your food)

Raw Food Chef Sandy Queiroz will discuss and prepare a variety of dressings using different bases from simple oil variety, nuts and seeds, hemp seed, nut butters, fresh  coconut and coconut oil, alcohol free flavorings, dry herbs vs. fresh herbs, spices and last but not least, veggie juices.

We will go over replacement of enzyme inhibiting vinegar, salt substitutes, and the inclusion of detoxifying sea minerals.  Sandy will show what to use as thickening agents and thinners. We will do quick easy recipes and more complex ones as we progress.

Sandy Queiroz has been a raw, living foods enthusiast since 2000.  Love of fresh healthy foods and the desire to make it taste good inspired her to vie for a position in the Hippocrate's kitchen.  Under the guidance and patience of Executive Chef Ken Blue, she now has the experience to share the delicious joy of living foods.
