Honors for Morristown High's Teen Business Leaders

MHS students took the spotlight at the state Future Business Leaders of America conference.

Members of Morristown High School's Future Business Leaders of America chapter did their hometown proud at the recent FBLA State Leadership Conference and Competitive Events event.

In competition, students Cole Shandlay and Sam Panko scored first in the state in the area of Digital Design and Production. The duo will continue on and represent New Jersey and Morristown High's FBLA in June at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

In other events, MHS' Michael Acampora placed third in the state in Economics.

The chapter won honors as well: The Morristown High FBLA recevied first honors for Outstanding Chapter. It also won Silver, Bronze, and Gold Key Awards. And the chapter was ranked number one in enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year.
