Booster Club President: Memorial Field Needs Lights Now

Touchdown Club says lighting the field will solve problems like unauthorized field use and turf damage.

Torn turf, unauthorized pickup soccer matches and private fitness classes are a few of the problems Tim Heaton, Co-President MHS Colonials Touchdown Club has identified.
Fortunately Heaton, in his post on Patch, has identified a solution to the skate boarding, sand-castle building and after dark soccer.
Lighting the turf field. According to Heaton, lights would increase turf use by 30 percent in some estimates, while simultaneously decreasing unauthorized use and unmonitored damage.
Additionally, Heaton said lights would concentrate upcoming student athletes on the Morristown High School campus and to the MHS coaches, thereby increasing positive awareness of the school.
Read Heaton's complete post for his argument in his own words.

What do you think? Should the field be lit or is this much adieu about nothing?
