An impressive 24-point fourth quarter performance from the Morristown girls basketball team came up just short, as the girls lost to Mount Olive, 46-33, on Monday.
Bridget McNamara finished with a game-high 15 points and Jordan Betlow added six points and seven steals for Morristown, who struggled for much of the game but showed a renewed vigor in the final frame.
“The girls played their hearts out," head coach Tara Kelly said, "and if we come out with the energy we had in the fourth quarter, we can do great things.”

Briana Zazzaro and Sarah Wells combined for 26 points for Mt. Olive, who finished 23 of 28 from the foul line.

The West Morris girls fencing team stopped Morristown, 10-0, according to NJ.com.
West Morris improved to 2-0 with the win, while Morristown fell to 0-2.
