Camp Clover, a free bereavement camp for children

Atlantic Home Care & Hospice, part of the Atlantic Health System, is sponsoring Camp Clover,  a free week-long bereavement day camp for children ages 7-15 who have lost a significant loved one .  There will be  fun camp activities such as swimming, arts & crafts and sports as well as activities which will assist children in processing their grief in a supported and caring environment. There will also be free lunch and busing.

Professional bereavement staff, as well as trained volunteers, will encourage grieving children to participate in activities that will help them develop health coping skills, increase confidence and self-esteem.  Surrounded by other children dealing with loss, campers begin to see that they are not alone.
