Mutts Mania 2011 - A Family and Dog Friendly Fun Day to benefit Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter!

Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter is presenting Mutts Mania 2011, its annual fundraiser and day of fun for families and their dogs.  The event takes place on Sunday, September 18, from noon till 4pm at Lurker Park, East Hanover. The park is located on Ridgedale Avenue and Eagle Rock Avenue. Mutts Mania is held rain or shine.

Mutts Mania welcomes more than 50 vendors plus special guests, including DJ Maria Milito of Q104.3, and the NJSPCA.  Browsers will be able to purchase a wide variety of unique items for themselves and their pets.  For added fun, contests such as highest jumper, best kisser and fastest tail wagger will take place during the day.  Past adopters from Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter should plan to stop by the Adopter's Reunion.  Interested adopters should visit the Pet Adoption Expo where Mt. Pleasant and other shelters and rescues including Noah’s Ark of Ledgewood and Liberty Humane Society of Jersey City, will highlight pets seeking new homes. There's truly something for everyone.
