Red Cross Pet First Aid Class

From basic pet owner responsibilities, like spaying, neutering and administering medications to managing breathing or cardiac emergencies and preparing for disasters, Dog First Aid and Cat First Aid offers information and advice pet owners can trust.

During the 3.5 hour training, participants will learn how to be prepared for emergencies that involve a pet, how to protect themselves and their pets from further harm, injury, or suffering during emergencies, and how to provide prompt, effective first aid actions and care.

During the class you will receive either a Dog First Aid or a Cat First Aid reference guide, your choice.  You will also receive a certification card to show you have successfully completed the course.

Please note: the Northern New Jersey Chapter has a strict NO REFUND policy. Be sure to choose which training event to attend carefully, and if you must transfer out of the class there will be $20 transfer fee - but you must request to transfer at least 72 hours before the class.
