What better way to make basketball history than on your home court in front of a capacity crowd?
That’s exactly what Morristown Colonial Sean Hoehn did recently as he notched his 1,000th career point against the Chatham Cougars.
The score came on a fast break in the third quarter, and Hoehn was congratulated by his teammates and coaches en route to a big win over the Cougars.
Head coach Bill Connolly said of his point guard, “Sean is a complete player both on offense and defense and has worked tremendously hard to continue to improve his skill level. Sean is a wonderful young man, a consummate teammate and leader, and a great role model for younger players. His hard work and the dedication and commitment of all our players has led to the successes of this year’s team.”
Morristown went 18-8 last season on its way to a sectional playoff run, and has just one loss against 12 wins this year.
