Hoehn's Successful Season Ends With All-County Honors

Morristown senior propelled hoops team to historic 2013-14 campaign.

In a season of constant achievement, Sean Hoehn just added one more accolade to a fairytale senior year.

The Morristown High School point guard has been named the Daily Record’s Morris County Player of the Year, thanks to a season in which he averaged 26 points per game, five rebounds, four assists and 3.4 steals, the report said.

As a captain for the second consecutive season, Hoehn scored his 1,000th point, propelled his team to its first Morris County Tournament title game appearance in 11 years, and notched a 20-3 record – the best mark for the school in nearly a century.

Despite graduating this June, Hoehn won’t go to college right away. Rather, he’ll be attending St. Thomas More school to improve in hoops and in the classroom, the report said.

Hoehn’s season high was 37 points against Irvington in the North 2, Group III tournament. He ends his high school career with 1,274 points.
