Meet Red Bulls at Morristown HS Soccer Clinic

Soccer has been a popular topic recently with the announcement of a new rival for the New York Red Bulls: The New York City Football Club, which will be owned by 2012 Barclay’s Premier League champions Manchester City and the 27 time World Series champion New York Yankees. 

Morristown-based law firm Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP is partnering with the New York Red Bulls to host a youth Soccer Clinic from 3-5 p.m. Monday at Morristown High School.

Red Bulls Player Connor Lade, a Morristown High School graduate and member of the 2012 U.S. Men’s National Team, will participate in the clinic for children from the Morristown Neighborhood House.

About 75 8-10 year olds are expected to participate in the clinic. The Morristown Neighborhood House promotes community stability by helping transition immigrant families into the community, fostering cross-cultural awareness, and assisting working and impoverished families to maximize their potential.  The children attending the clinic will learn basic soccer skills through skill-building activities and games, familiarizing each child with the structure of a game setting, while including lots of positive reinforcement.
