MHS Softball Coach: 'Our Bats Came Alive'

The Colonials exploded for six runs in the first inning en route to a 8-2 win.

IN SHORT: The Colonials pounced on the Vikings in the first inning, sending 10 batters to the plate in what amounted to a six run inning. The Colonials won 8-2, bringing their season record to 2-0.

COLONIAL OF THE GAMEMolly Forman held the Vikings to six hits and two runs over seven innings of work as she earned the win.

OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES: McKenzie Peacock (Morristown), Jen Dolin (Morristown), and Alli Klinger (Morristown) all had first inning RBI singles for the Colonials. Katie Schnabel (Parsippany Hills) scored two runs. Jen Dathe had an RBI single.
