Strong Arm Helps Morristown High Baseball Get Win

Pat Lea pitched six scoreless innings against Mt. Olive.

Morristown High School started the game with a head full of steam and never seemed to slow down as they were able to pick up a win against Mt.Olive. Offensively, the Colonials were working on all cylinders, but it was their outstanding pitching and defense that sealed the deal.

IN SHORT
All worked out well for the Colonials on both sides of the ball as they were able to put up excellent numbers on offense as well as shut down the opposing team on defense. The pitching of Morristown's Pat Lea was the highlight of the game as he went six innings without giving up a single run.

The outstanding Colonial pitcher struck out six batters, and with the help of his infield, was able to pitch six scoreless innings. Lea was 2-2 up at bat with an RBI and scored each time at bat himself.

Chad Fu (MHS), 3-for-4 and a walk in the game, on base all four times, three runs scored, and three RBI's.
