Superheros Unite! Costumed Half Marathon Runs Through Morris Sunday
Fifth annual event will hit streets at 8:30 a.m.
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a marathon runner!
The caped crusaders that will be seen running through the area on Sunday aren't rushing to anyone's aid, rather, they're taking part in the fifth annual Superhero Half Marathon and Relay.
The event, organized by Super Hero Events, kicks off at 8:30 a.m. on Southgate Parkway near South Street and ends in the South Street parking lot of Loantaka Park, according to the race website.
The run spans a 13.1-mile single loop in Morris Township and Morristown. Proceeds from the event will benefit Meals on Wheels of Morristown.
