Strong Storms Expected Thursday Evening

Morristown could see large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain and lightning.

 

Morristown could get hit with some pretty crazy weather Thursday evening, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

From the NWS web site: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10 p.m. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning. Low around 74. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light west in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
