Ash Wednesday Services and Lenten Studies at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown.
Join us on our journey to Easter as we begin Lent with reflection and prayer at Ash Wednesday services on February 13, at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. The Reverend Dr. David Smazik and Reverend Cynthia Alloway will lead two services with distribution of ashes at 12 noon in the Chapel and again at 8 p.m. in the Sanctuary on 57 East Park Place, Morristown.
A children’s Ash Wednesday service of fellowship and devotions will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the PCM Parish House on 65 South Street, Morristown, for ages 5 – 14.
We will also be hosting an afternoon Lenten Studystarting on February 13 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the PCM Parish House. This study will highlight Jesus’ final journey from Galilee to Jerusalem in fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies of his death and resurrection. Please join us in discussion.
