High School Ringers-on-the-Green Perform in Morristown This Sunday

View a prelude to the Ringers-on-the-Green performance this Sunday.

Have you ever seen a bell concert? Don't miss a chance to experience the energy, both visual and audio, that is created by the amazingly talented high school musicians–the Ringers-on-the-Green. How do they move so fast? How do they lift those heavy bells? How do they hit the notes in sync with eleven others ringing two to four bells, all at the same time? Directed by Elise Figa, the Ringers-on-the-Green perform contemporary and classic arrangements for handbells. Over the 40-year history of the choir, the ROGS have toured every summer in 40 states, Canada, Bermuda and Europe.  This year’s send-off concert in Morristown is a prelude to a week-long concert tour in Virginia and North Carolina.

The concert takes place this Sunday, June 24 at 4 p.m., at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown, 57 Park Place. The concert is free with a reception after the program where you can meet and greet the Ringers, and honor their interim director, Elise Figa.
