The Presbyterian Church in Morristown at The Fall Festival on the Green

This past Sunday marked the nineteenth annual Fall Festival at the Morristown Green. Thousands of people wandered the streets of Morristown finding activities for people and animals of all ages. The Presbyterian Church in Morristown's booth was fun for the whole family.

The face painting at the churches booth was a huge hit. Tons of children waited in line to either have something simple painted across their cheek or to be transformed: the requests were endless. From simple dogs or cats to superheroes or sharks the face painters did not stop to make the children's face painting dreams come true.

Dozens of furry friends came and received a blessing from one of the churches pastors on Sundays. The Blessing of the Animals was a success this year bringing a smile to the faces of not only the owner, but also the pets. The animals left the booth feeling blessed and refreshed after a blessing and a treat.

A first at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown's Fall Festival booth was the option of taking a tour of their 278 year old church. This included seeing the beautiful sanctuary filled with dozens of stained glass windows, including one of George Washington taking communion, and Pam Kane playing the churches historic organ for all who went on the tour. Many people were thrilled to see what the church looked like on the inside after seeing it from the outside so many times.
