Morristown church leads Hurricane Sandy disaster recovery trip

Today, Sunday July 28, The Presbyterian Church in Morristown will send a group of 20 representatives to Point Pleasant on a week long Hurricane Sandy recovery trip.  They will be staying at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and working during the day.  Their projects include siding, painting, yard work, and other tasks to help home owners move back into their homes.  Daily devotions will be held in the evenings, and God is alive in their hearts throughout the work days.  This is the only week long Hurricane Sandy Disaster Recovery trip scheduled for this summer, but daily trips are being planned throughout the coming months.  The community is more than welcome to join The Presbyterian Church in Morristown on August 15, September 14, and any of the numerous trips that are still being planned to help rebuild Union Beach.  To learn more or sign up for a trip visit http://pcmorristown.org/serve/local-outreach-/hurricane-sandy-relief.
